Non Physician

The APA offers discounted registration fees for Medical Students, Non-Medical Students, Nonmember Advocacy Group Members, Nonmember Mental Health Chaplains, and Psychiatric Residents.  These registrations are considered provisional until status verification is received.  To qualify for the fee reduction or exemption, credentials must be received within seven (7) days of your on-line registration or be included in with mailed or faxed registration form.   If your verification is not received in the time period, the registration will be cancelled. 

Advocacy Group Member registrants  must be a member or employee of organization that advocates for patient rights.  To qualify for this discounted fee, submit a copy of your active membership card or a letter on official organizational letterhead verifying your membership, volunteer status or employment.   

Medical Student registrants must be enrolled part time or full time in a university.  To qualify for this discounted fee, submit a copy of a current student ID or a letter on official organizational letterhead verifying your enrollment.

Mental Health Chaplain registrants must be employed in a professional organization.  To qualify for this discounted fee, submit a letter on official organizational letterhead verifying your employment.

Non-Medical Student registrants must be enrolled part time or full time in a university.  To qualify for this discounted fee, submit a copy of a current student ID or a letter on official organizational letterhead verifying your enrollment.  Post-doctoral fellows qualify for this rate.

Resident registrants must be a physician in a psychiatric residency training program approved by the Residency Review Committee for Psychiatry of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Canada), or the American Osteopathic Association.  To qualify for this discounted fee, submit a copy of a resident ID or a letter on official organizational letterhead verifying your residency.

REGISTRATION FEES

Standard Registration package includes admission to over 400 scientific and clinical program sessions (excluding courses), the exhibit hall, and shuttle bus service from official meeting hotels to the Moscone Convention Center.

Gold Registration package includes Annual Meeting on Demand with the standard registration.
